Classical Roman profile
The curved tile shape creates an elegant, traditional roofline that suits Mediterranean, European and upscale residential styles.
Roman tile inherits the elegant curved silhouette of traditional Mediterranean barrel tiles. Its soft, undulating arches bring timeless classical charm to any building. While many roof materials focus purely on strength, the Roman profile is engineered with superior drainage performance as its core design priority.
The continuous arched contour of the Roman tile forms natural water channels across the roof surface. Rainwater flows smoothly along the curved profile without forming stagnant pools. Unlike flat or low-wave tiles where water can linger and gradually seep through overlaps, the Roman tile’s arched shape accelerates runoff even during intense downpours.
The interlocking overlap system is precisely matched to this curved profile. The overlapping section is fully covered and shielded from direct rainfall. When heavy rain or driving rain hits the roof, water cannot easily sneak under the tile overlaps. This design greatly reduces the chance of water leakage, one of the most common headaches for roof owners.
For renovation projects, poor drainage from old roofing is often the main cause of repeated leaks. The Roman profile solves this root problem. It works best when the roof pitch is ≥15°, and the flowing water path stays consistent across ridges, valleys and edge details.
Base sheet: AZ30G-AZ180 aluminum-zinc alloy steel plate.5-layer protective system: aluminum-zinc anti-rust base, acrylic primer, high-temperature sintered basalt stone chip layer, transparent top glaze. The composite structure resists UV, rainwater and salt spray corrosion, performing reliably even in coastal high-salt areas. Natural sintered stone granules form a sound-absorbing buffer layer.
Standard colors: burgundy, coffee brown, charcoal black, dark green, grey sandstone. Custom colors available. Stone chip: domestic TIANWO stone chips, flexible selection based on client budget and project service life requirement. Full set of accessories available: ridge tiles, edge flashing, gutters, ventilation caps, one-stop roofing system supply.
Single-family villas, townhouses, holiday manors, boutique hotels, European-style cultural tourism buildings, flat-to-slope conversion and old roof replacement. Compatible with steel structure, concrete and wood roof substrates.
FUODE ROOFING operates a dedicated manufacturing facility in Liaocheng, Shandong, where stone coated metal roof tiles are produced under a structured production system. The factory focuses on core processes such as steel coil preparation, forming, coating, granule application and quality inspection. By managing production in-house, the company can better control product consistency, delivery schedules and after-sales support for overseas customers.
Each batch of roof tiles goes through routine checks to help maintain stable dimensions, surface appearance and interlocking performance. The factory pays attention to coating uniformity, granule adhesion, edge alignment and overall tile flatness. These daily control steps help reduce visible defects and support more reliable performance during transportation, installation and long-term use.
With factory-based production and export experience, FUODE ROOFING can provide product documentation, specification confirmation and order coordination for overseas projects. Customers benefit from direct communication with a manufacturing source, clearer product information and more responsive support during the purchasing process. The 50-year warranty further reflects the company’s confidence in the long-term performance of its stone coated metal roof tiles.
