Cheap stone coated tiles may look similar at first, but their granules are often less consistent in size, color and adhesion. FUOEDE focuses on stable surface quality, uniform granule coverage and reliable interlocking performance, helping reduce early fading and shedding risks.
Minor surface granule loss does not immediately cause leakage, but noticeable shedding can expose the underlying coating and reduce long-term durability. A well-bonded granule layer helps protect the metal substrate and supports more consistent weather resistance over time.
A small amount of loose granule residue may appear in gutters shortly after installation, usually from handling, cutting or transportation. This is different from continuous granule shedding caused by poor bonding or low-quality surface treatment.
Buyers can request product samples, close-up surface photos, specification details and third-party test reports when available. It is also helpful to compare granule uniformity, edge bonding, color consistency and the supplier’s production and quality control practices.
Regular inspection of the roof surface, gutters and fasteners is recommended, especially after storms. Keeping the roof free from heavy debris, standing leaves and accumulated dirt can help maintain its appearance and support long-term performance.
