High Tensile Strength & Rigidity
The exceptional structural performance of color-coated stone chip tiles is fundamentally underpinned by the high tensile strength and rigidity of the cold-rolled, high-density galvanized steel core (typically G300/AZ150 or equivalent). Tensile strength refers to the material's resistance to breaking under tension or pulling forces, while rigidity (often measured by modulus of elasticity) indicates its resistance to bending or deflection under load. The specific grade of steel used undergoes controlled manufacturing processes to achieve a precise balance of these properties. This high-strength steel core provides the essential backbone that allows the tiles to span between roof purlins or battens over significant distances (commonly 24-inch or 600mm centers, sometimes more) without excessive sagging or deflection under their own weight, accumulated snow, wind pressure, or foot traffic during installation and maintenance.
Installation instructions are provided with each tile package, and our factory also offers customer support for any installation - related questions. Our factory designs and manufactures these tiles with the installer in mind, ensuring that the tiles are lightweight, easy to handle, and require minimal tools for installation.
