Fire Resistance Classifications
Pre-painted coils achieve fire ratings via:

  • A2-s1,d0 (EN 13501): Mineral-filled silicone resins with 600°C intumescence

  • Class A (ASTM E84): Flame spread <25, smoke density <450

  • M1 (NF F16-101): Non-flammable in rail tunnels

Fire testing (ISO 5658-2) shows heat release rates <90kW/m² and smoke toxicity (LC50>20mg/L). Char layers form at 300°C, insulating substrates. The technology enables pre-painted coils in high-rises and tunnels without additional fireproofing.
